ABOUT

The label EZ Studio is an art project from Mannheim, which was founded at the end of 2019 by communication designer Nicole Karatas.

The works are designed on experimental materials, always searching for and defining new boundaries of painting. Abstract pictorial languages are created by pigment streams that meet in a haunting and enraptured way. The fascinating structures result in forms, textures and depths that seem to be close but remain unattainable. These atmospheric phenomena reflect places of refuge and longing. 

The impressive works reflect spontaneity and a combination of traditional painting with analogue and digital tools. This combination lends a unique expression to all the series.
